Time After Time

You know, my brain is seriously working OT.
It like, cannot stop thinking.
I'll be in my nice, cosy bed, the lights out, the air-con on and my eyes closed, but the cogs in my head just refuse to stop turning.
Sometimes I think so much I can almost hear the whirring of my brain.
Wish there was an "off" switch somewhere.

If my looking like a first-class idiot makes God look better or enables me to love Him better,

Little Notes

My family's vacuum cleaner is my new best friend!

This holiday, I shall be diligent and go for ballet class at least 4 times a week!

Too bad for those of you who missed it!

Nowadays, I'm discovering the joy of being in sync with divine timing.
Sometimes things don't happen, and I know not to fret.
And they always turn out alright.

Prayer

Minutes before the show started, we were gathered in the small changing room, squeezed in with everyone's bags around our feet, trying to find the last bit of floor space.
Gin, Zoe, Yang Ming, Zarrah, Shan, Carla, Sarah, Carol and me. (Orca should've been there with us, but she was backstage crew)
We've never had a prayer meeting this big since school started last semester.
It was AMAZING.
God doesn't just bless Christian productions; He blesses productions where Christians are actively involved (and praying).

This is the most memorable bit of the entire production I'll have.

Smile of the Savior

The Savior's Call

There is a brokenness within us all that is untouchable.

He looks into your eyes and searches your soul. He sees your hurts.
He knows your pain better than anyone else.
When you were incapable of reaching out, He stretched out his hands on the tree to cover you.
The Savior's blood falling softly over your raw wounds.

You have been torn, and that's why you're here at His feet.
He mends the gashes and pieces you back together.

I have not known a life worth living, but He found me, and that changed.

Sometimes the air is too hard to breathe in; drawing in each quick, sharp gasp cuts through your lungs and reaches your heart.
Could anything devastate you more?

I have not known light until I saw His eyes.

My dear Suen,
He loves you far more than you can imagine.
And even when the last wall of self-protection has fallen, when the tide stops coming in and every good memory has faded away, He stands true.

Jens got the bible in his hp, and he asked me where to read :)

God I pray that You'll grow Jens in faith and in wisdom, that You'll uphold his feet so that he will not stumble or stray from Your way. May You protect him against persecutions, and I thank you for his mum, who will be able to help him. God, I ask that You'll help him find a place where he can have fellowship with believers of his age, that You'll surround him with believers who will be able to encourage and support him!
May his love for you increase with each passing day and may the testing of his faith increase his passion for you!
God, in all things, watch over him, as I know You will, for Your love and compassion is far greater than all human imagination :)
