Miracle or Magic?

I love this quote from Bruce Almighty.

God: Parting a soup is not a miracle, Bruce. It's a magic trick. A single mom who's working two jobs, and still finds time to take her son to soccer practice, that's a miracle. A teenager who says "no" to drugs and "yes" to an education, that's a miracle. People want me to do everything for them. What they don't realize is *they* have the power. You want to see a miracle, son? Be the miracle.

Sometimes we pray and ask for miracles.
What we don't realise is that we ask for magic.
God ain't no magician, and He definitely ain't no wishing well.
And forget any thoughts you ever had about striking jackpot when you've prayed enough times.
God specialises in miracles.
He may choose to work a bit of magic here and there from time to time, but that's His choice, dudes!

When our eyes are opened to see the difference between a miracle and a magic trick, we will see so much, so much more.
